> About the Photographer
Adam Schallau is a freelance photographer creating work for travel publications, calendars, annual reports, environmental protection organizations, among other uses. His photography explores the landscape, culture, and people of the American Southwest. It’s with a deep respect for the land, its people, and their history that Adam sets out to recapture the essence of a place to tell a story through his photography. He also teaches photography and Photoshop, as well as printing photos for other photographers and artists in northern
Adam’s photography has appeared in magazines, travel guides, and calendars, and it has been exhibited everywhere from local galleries to national parks, and state capitols. Most recently Adam was one of eight photographers to be awarded the Luminous Landscape Endowment Fund which is helping to support his
